Plot.
Quinzinho and João Victor (both played by Tony Ramos) are identical twins who do not know of each other's existence. They were separated when babies. João Victor was created by his father, Joaquim Gama (Raul Cortez), and Quinzinho stayed with his mother, Helena (Lilian Lemmertz). Joaquim and Helena met in Porto Alegre and fell in love. At the time, Joaquim was already with Martha (Tereza Rachel) and did not want to give up the marriage to live next to Helena. She ended up marrying the doctor Pliny Miranda (Fernando Torres), who created Quinzinho as her true son. The identical twins, with completely different temperaments, end up approaching a series of feelings that they can't explain.
