Plot.
During the Second World War, a Soviet plane crashes in the territory occupied by the Germans, but the pilot Grivtsov and his beloved radio operator Katya, who were flying in it on a mission, miraculously escape. Navigator Linko also managed to survive. Each of them will now have to find their own way to complete a combat mission, return to their own and survive..

Ballada or firefighter (English: Ballad of the Bomber / Russian: баллада о бомбере), is a film directed by Vitalily Vorobyov.The film focuses on Andrey, a Soviet air pilot, his radio operator Katya and navigator Georgiy, who meet in Nazi Germany after miraculously surviving a forced landing in the opening sequences.The three will soon be caught in a battle between German soldiers and a group of Russian guerrillas living in the forest.This same year the miniseries opened with the same name, Ballada or firefighter, consisting of 8 episodes.
