It is inspired at times by the life of the murdered vallenate singer, Rafael Orozco Maestre (founder of El Binomio de Oro de América). The production is recorded in Bogotá, Barranquilla, Valledupar and Villanueva (La Guajira), is starring singer Alejandro Palacio as Rafael and the former universal virgin Taliana Vargas as Clara Elena Cabello de Orozco who was the sentimental companion of the singer; likewise it counts with the participation of the actors Maritza Rodríguez, Andrés Villa, Alberto Pujol, Victor Navarro and in his debut Rafael Santos Díaz as Diomedes Díaz (his father in real life).
