No Entry is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language comedy film written and directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Celina Jaitly, and Boman Irani. It is an official remake of the Tamil film Charlie Chaplin (2002).
No Entry released theatrically on 26 August 2005 with a budget of ₹200 million, and attained a blockbuster success grossing a worldwide total of ₹750 million, thus becoming the highest-grossing film of 2005. It received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics, with praise for its humor, soundtrack and performances of the cast; however its story and screenplay received criticism. The film earned four Filmfare Awards nominations. A sequel has been in development hell since years.
