Biography
"Judy was the first woman camera assistant in Chicago. In addition, she has produced and directed numerous documentaries. Since 1980, she has worked with the Namgis First Nation of Alert Bay in British Columbia to produce films and teach video so that this group could produce their own media. She is currently a lecturer of documentary at the University of Chicago and continues to be a stakeholder in Kartemquin Films."
