Arnošt Lustig (Czech pronunciation: [ˈarnoʃt ˈlustɪk]; 21 December 1926 – 26 February 2011) was a renowned Czech Jewish author of novels, short stories, plays, and screenplays whose works have often involved the Holocaust.
