Biography
Lars-Ove "Lasse" Wellander (18 June 1952 – 7 April 2023) was a Swedish guitarist who played with ABBA. He first recorded with the group's backing band in 1974 and was featured on their self-titled album as well as on several subsequent hits.Wellander came from the village of Skrikarhyttan. He played with local groups and later with Ted Gärdestad's backing band. Gärdestad introduced him to Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.
