Moune de Rivel

Cécile Jean-Louis (7 January 1918 – 27 March 2014), better known by her pen name Moune de Rivel, was a French singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Moune de Rivel was born in Bordeaux to Guadeloupean parents. Her father is Henri Jean-Louis Baghio'o, French magistrate, and her mother is Fernande de Virel, daughter of the Count of Virel and musician. She has two brothers, Edward and Victor.She chooses Moune de Rivel as stage name by reversing her mother's surname.Moune de Rivel died in 2014 in Paris and rests at the Montparnasse Cemetery.
