1985, Marcel, 60 years old, ex-variety-producer, half-alcoholic rattlesnake removed from his land, learns that his wife left him nine days ago (he had not realized it) and that he is ruined because of bad placements. He therefore decides to recruit his former compañeros in Montreal: Lady Moon, a transvestite sexagenaire in mourning; Lucie, 60 years old, an indomitable comic; and Roger, 55 years old, grumpy crooner a little salty. The three want to embark on the "reunion show" but on condition that Marcel hires Pedro, his son.Or, Marcel and Pedro do not get along very well. Among other things, they do not have the same vision of popular theatre. At the end, in the barn to Marcel will play a comedy of inheritance, between burlesque tradition and new theatre. But also, exceptional circumstances will force everyone to reinvent friendship, filial love - and the very idea of family.
