Plot.
Wendy Tilby's Tables of Content was her graduation film from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Vancouver in 1986. The movie transports one into another era, an earlier age of gentility and reticence, set in a rather stuffy restaurant during the day.

Tables of Content is a Canadian animated short film, directed by Wendy Tilby and released in 1986. Made as her graduating class project in the filmmaking program at Emily Carr College of Art and Design, the film depicts an elderly man dining alone in a restaurant and observing the sights and sounds around him.The film premiered at the 1986 Montreal World Film Festival. It was subsequently acquired for distribution by the National Film Board of Canada.
