The Grimm fairy tale of the beautiful Müllersdaughter, who wins the king's hand with the help of a leprechaun, was somewhat defused by some changes and omissions of "grey" scenes against the original. The overall relatively well successful filming is staged with empathy into the childish world of imagination and is aimed specifically at the very small viewers.
