Legittima vendetta is a 1995 film directed by Bruno Mattei. In addition to directing the film, Mattei also took care of the screenplay along with director Ninì Grassia, while Grassia also took care of the music. Among the performers are the film actor B. Antonio Zequila, who worked with Mattei in all his erotic thrillers of the 1990s. The screenplay of the film deals with the story of a couple, Barbara and Paolo who takes refuge because of the stress in Floriana's house an eccentric noblewoman. In fact, the real reason is to carry out a blow that will make them very rich. After having settled in the house, Barbara makes friends with Floriana and convinces her to kill her husband. Barbara at night kills him and devours him by the guilt of taking refuge in a hotel. Shortly after she discovers that Paul is still alive, and begins to organize his revenge.The film was distributed in limited version in the cinemas in 1995, and during this period it cashed in 2,722,000 lire.Like Mattei's previous films, this too was heavily criticized, both by the public and by film critics.
