It is the last of a series of three films, taken from the novels of Cécile Aubry, after Belle & Sebastien, directed by Nicolas Vanier in 2013, and Belle & Sebastien - The adventure continues, directed in 2015 by Christian Duguay. All three films are starring the child actor Félix Bossuet, in the role of a small orphan (Sébastien) who makes friends with a mountain dog of the Pyrenees.
