The Knights of the Zodiac - St. Seiya - Hades, known also as Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter, is a trilogy of series OAV with the protagonists of the Knights of the Zodiac.In all it counts 31 OAV and is the animated transposition of the Hades saga, published in volumes 19-28 of Manga. While in 1989 the serialization in tankōbon continued with the series of Hades, the anime stopped at the chapter of Nettuno.At 13 years of distance, in 2002, the Toei decided to resume the unfinished work, stimulated by the initiative of some French designers led by Olivier Gilbert and Jerome Alquiè, who presented a trailer on the series at the Fair of the Animation of Lyon.The series was thus realized in 31 OAV, released between November 2002 and August 2008. The first episode was sent on the Japanese satellite channel "SkyPerfectual" and the second episode of the "SyOv" period of the previous episode of the year. All 31 episodes were transmitted from the "SkyPerfet TV" channel, with many replicas of the entire series, and then sold in Japan in DVD format; these DVDs were then sold in various nations of the world including China and Brazil.Always on the Hades series were produced 2 extra DVD episodes, which resumed the saga, also containing sequences of the classical anime.The series also enjoyed in Japan a cinematic preview passage.In Italy, the chapter "Sanctuary" (13 episodes) was transmitted on Italy 1 from Sunday 14 September 2008 to Sunday 14 September 2008 in the early morning; from the following February 17 were transmitted, with the frequency of two episodes per week (Tuesday and Thursday) at 13:40, the Son 12 episodes of the chapter "Infermation" were transmitted on the Sunday 14 September 2008 in the early morning. The presentation and launch of the case took place at Lucca Comics & Games 2018.
