Plot.

The Argentine, begins as Che and a band of Cuban exiles (led by Fidel Castro) reach the Cuban shore from Mexico in 1956. Within two years, they mobilized popular support and an army and toppled the U.S.-friendly regime of dictator Fulgencio Batista.

Que - L'Argentino (The Argentina) is a 2008 film directed by Steven Soderbergh.Biographic film based on the event of the overthrow, which occurred in 1959, of the Cuban dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista by Ernesto "Che" Guevara and a group of Cuban exiles led by Fidel Castro. The film is inspired by the book La guerre révolutionnaire a Cuba, written by Ernesto Guevara himself, played in the film by Benicio del Toro.
