Plot.

Daniel Shore is forced to witness the murder of the little son of his Moroccan lover while on holiday in Morocco. Back in Germany, the student who has been persecuted by guilt moves into the old apartment house of his deceased grandmother. In the dark corridors, he soon encounters a number of bizarre and treacherous roommates: the former housekeeper Kowalski feels himself pushed by Daniel's lack of attention, the young singer Elli shows up to him and the bank employee Feige suspects himself with his perceptible partiality from the beginning. The images from Morocco overlay more and more the unreal-looking present, reality and imagination begin to blur. Daniel tries to shake off the shadows of the past, which pull him deeper and deeper into a whirlpool. And suddenly he gets another chance to save a little boy's life. Daniel doesn't want to fail a second time.
