Wiki.
The DEFA produced a four-part episode film on the occasion of the 7th Party Congress as a self-commitment of the feature film studio. The third and fourth episodes received a GDR state predicate. The episodes aren't connected by a frame action. The construction of the Berlin Wall in August 1961, from the perspective of members of the working class struggle groups, is a common theme. The production of the film was supported by the National People's Army.
