Plot.
Richelieu is in power. The wars of religion followed. In 1623, under the reign of Louis XIII, a noble Huguenot, the Marquis of Bois-Doré, converted into the sequel of his king Henry IV, was divided among his friends who asked him to resist the persecutions of the Cardinal of Richelieu, and the love he felt for his niece, Laurien de Beuvre, who played on the tone of platonic love.
